How can I invest my superannuation savings with Prime Value Asset Management?
There are two ways you can invest your superannuation savings in the Prime Value funds. If you already have,
or intend to have, a Self Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF), then the SMSF can invest directly into the
Prime Value fund of your choice, subject to the trust deed.
If your superannuation savings are invested in an industry superannuation fund or retail
superannuation fund (master trust), you can select the Prime Value funds from the relevant investment menu,
where Prime Value is offered as a menu choice.
Prime Value is not currently available via the majority of
industry funds, but can be accessed in a selection of retail funds. These include those retails funds
provided by Asgard (Prime Value Growth Fund only), BT, Macquarie Bank, Netwealth and PremiumChoice. Please
contact your superannuation fund to see if Prime Value is offered or call us for further information.
How can I transfer an existing Prime Value investment into my SMSF? What is the cost?
If you already have an existing investment in the Prime Value funds, you may be in a position to
transfer those assets into your self managed superannuation fund (SMSF). Notify us in writing of the new
account name and send a completed application form for the SMSF and we will transfer your investment at
mid-price with no switching fees.
Please note, however, that such a transfer may have capital
gains consequences and we suggest you seek advice from your taxation or financial adviser to discuss the
relevant implications. |
